Self care refers to activities undertaken to enhance wellbeing, manage stress and maintain physical, mental and emotional health. In our busy modern lives, It is important to ensure we are allowing enough time for self care to reduce our levels of the stress hormone cortisol. Prolonged stress can lead to hormonal imbalances, fatigue, nutrient deficiencies and burnout. 

Self care may look different for everyone, depending on what you enjoy and what you find rejuvenating.
